Heart warming yoga on Bali

I belong in the majority of hungry, pale Norwegians that cram themselves together to do an hour of Yoga, in a busy training center, right after work and before dinner. You can imagine how delighted, but scared I was when my new friend Marina asked me if I would like to come with her and do Yoga, together with her friends in a small loft in Kuta (Bali)?
Lovely yoga ladies
Including and friendly yoga
Yoga is supposed to be all about your body and your mind, but often when I have practiced yoga in the past I have felt like it's more about the potential Instagram picture the girl next to me is planning to take. These lovely yoga ladies introduced me to a tough yoga lesson, but there energy and their positive, down to earth spirit really inspired me.

Finding friends through my camera lens
I only met Marina a few days before she introduced me to both the warmest and the most hart warming yoga I have ever done. They where all so friendly and welcoming. I came with her to take some pictures the first time. And what a location! A magical little loft in the middle of the city. For me, bringing a camera is the easiest way to do something that is hard. Bring the camera and all of a sudden I feel right at home. This is just one of many adventures where my camera have opened doors, were I would not even know that there was a door in the first place, had it not been for my Nikon.
My camera took me to this loft in Kuta and re-introduced me to yoga and I met these lovely Russian speaking ladies. I did not expect an outdoor yoga adventure, but I am very happy it happened.

Warm up. Just so it's been said: I was warm before I started, during and after. Bali is very hot in December!
